Its that time of year, where I go through and start removing older work and replacing it with new. Plus I have a few site graphics I need to get replaced. Frankly I need more hours in the day. Anyone care to figure out how to put 36 hours into every day for me, and then give me a week of solid quiet to use them? Anyone? Fine. I'll just add that to the list of things I have to do. I swear....

I intend to get this moving in earnest over the next few days, so if things get a bit buggy, pardon the dust. Its so hard to clean when you have a Monkey and a Dog shedding all over the place. Now you will excuse me the sun is about to come up, and I must get to sleep before I turn to dust myself.

I couldn't help myself. Moments after I finished this, CNN actually debuted a logo for this ludicrous joke.
This started as a joke somone made on Twitter, and now it may be a real show thanks to Roland Martin and Anderson Cooper.
But seriously this needs to be a show. I would watch this. If you have no idea what this is about you clearly were not watching CNN at 3 am on January 4th.

Edit* Oh God and now there is a Twitter for CNNAfterDark. Follow them. This is epic. lol

If anything they are picking up. So if there is a piece of work that you have been eying whether on the site here, or at Twilight Comics or MindWorks Gallery now is the time to snag it because I really don't know what will be left after the holidays. Check out the Original Paintings section of the store to see whats available and where as of this moment, and you may want to call ahead before you make a trip.

The only thing I can say for sure is that I am very grateful for all of you, and that I will spend this holiday in a small coma preparing to get painting replacements next week!

_ I know I have been quite on here for about a month, but that's just because I have been BURIED under work. Now with a Few Days left before Christmas I have a moment to breath and update the site.

First up: This is a poster I put together for a Sketch Comedy Podcast I do artwork for called F'd Up In Middle America. (Link is safe for work, podcast is not) I didnt have a lot of time for this one as it kinda fell on me along with a million other things this month, but I just love the opportunity to play with traditions and put them on their ear. Check out the show, its a version of this story that you have NOT heard before, and a lot of fun to listen to as you wrap your gifts this year.

First of all I want to thank everyone who made it out for the Art and Craft show this weekend. It was an amazing time and great to see so many of you. But a 3 day show is nothing if not an endurance trial, and I have been playing catch up and slipping in and out of a coma all week. I just wanted to drop you a reminder that ArtMonkeyWorld will be a vendor at the 31st Annual Art and Craft Fall Fair happening this weekend at the Belle-Clair Fairgrounds in Belleville, IL.
This year, like every year, I have produced a ton of new work that will make excellent gifts for friends and family. Or maybe just something to spruce up the ol'homestead for yourself before the holidays! If you can't make it out to the show this weekend, my work is available year-round at Mindworks Gallery in Chesterfield,MO. Its been a crazy busy month, and it being my favorite month, with my favorite holiday I thought I would share two of the new works now available at Twilight Comics in Shiloh, IL.These paintings are continuing my exploration of texture that I have been really getting back into as of late. It used to be a big thing for meas late as two years ago, but having creative tourettes, I moved on to other things for a while and have now remembered why I spent years painting thick, or on a pre-textured surface. Its just TOO much fun. : )
