David Carr is an award winning artist who has been working as a professional painter and designer since the age of 14. He has exhibited across the country, and has work in hundreds of private collections. He strives to maintain a high degree of creativity and excellence in his work, while meeting a balance between both his love of illustration and fine art.
His quick wit and high energy level gave him the honor of being dubbed the "Art Monkey" early on in his career by friends and peers. He works exclusively in no particular medium, preferring to play in all forms of 2d media. This allows him to have a better understanding of his craft. All the while keeping his mind that is brimming with ideas, very well occupied. Or to put it in his own words, he has " Creative Tourettes".
He currently lives in Belleville, IL with his beautiful wife Holli and their curious beagle/raccoon mix Sara. Holli has asked that the monkey situation not be mentioned…
